The Melina Bay hotel is a super hotel that has been very nicely refurbished throughout with super rooms in great condition. It is also in a lovely location right by the harbour with views over the bay and harbour. It is an ideal place for a peaceful break whilst being close to all the facilities, bars and restaurants in Kassiopi, which is a relatively small resort. However, the main feature of the hotel is its amazing staff. The whole team are fantastic, offering very friendly and professional service. While my wife and stayed here I had an accident and injured myself and the people in the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful, arranging for my visits to the doctor and providing lifts using the hotel transport as I was unable to walk. They also arranged for us to move to a ground floor room before I could even request it! Just brilliant customer service from people who actually cared about their guests. If you’re planning a visit or holiday in Kassiopi you absolutely cannot go wrong staying here. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!!! PS I would like to namecheck all the people who helped me but unfortunately I have forgotten their names, except for Gina (the boss lady 😊), but every person working at the Melna Bay hotel is lovely.

The position was fantastic, it could not be closer to the pretty harbour. The breakfast was lovely. A great choice, some different options each morning and well looked after by the 2 girls looking after the breakfast room. The view of the harbour from breakfast and the closeness to the harbour made breakfast time such a lovely start to the day. The hotel is managed by Gina who has a lovely dry sense of humour and the whole team are lovely. They speak great English so language is no barrier. The hotel is quiet and relaxed but if you need anything the staff are happy to help. Our room was lovely and was cleaned daily to a high standard. I loved the floor tiles in our room, they were spotless. The pool area was lovely also with Views of the harbour, boats and albania. On the last few evenings we had a nightcap in the hotel and sat a few steps up from the bar. Lovely views including all the lights from Albania and the harbour, it was nice and peaceful before bed. The hotel organised the taxis to and from the airport therefore we knew the driver was safe and also the price. We spoke to Gina on reception for advice on booking a trip to corfu town, we followed her advice and it was spot on.

Great view of the harbour and perfect location. The room and the balcony overlooking the harbour was fantastic. No noise could be heard from the front of the building and it was very pleasant to sit on the balcony and watch the comings and goings within the harbour. The rooms are exactly as in the photographs, very comfortable, very spacious and very welcoming. The shower room is also fantastic as it’s a large wet room with a fantastic shower and plenty of room. The swimming pool is a great small pool, perfect for a dip to cool down and has table service. It’s great for a few days, and there is a beach with just a short walk away. There is a wide range of options for breakfast, And plenty to choose from, Greek yoghurt, dates, cereals, freshly baked bread etc. Plus cooked options. They even provided almond milk for the dairy intolerant to like myself… The staff of very wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel was also spotlessly clean. You won’t be disappointed with a short, to mid-length stay at this hotel, it’s exactly as described. A visit to the bakery in main Street is a must! Do not miss out as it’s fantastic.

Lovely hotel in a great location, friendly staff, great value and tasty breakfast with different local options each day. Super close to lots of great restaurants and bars, the harbour and the beaches, amazing views over the harbour to Albania (take a day trip it's really interesting!) No parking at the hotel but had no problem parking for free around the harbour, imagine that might be more tricky in peak season. Nice pool area, though cold water, think the sea was warmer! All in all a great value hotel in a fantastic village. Top tips of things to do - corfu old town, donkey sanctuary in the centre of the island, hire a boat (book in advance to get the size you want), Cassiopia restaurant's moussaka, and buy sea shoes for the pebbly beaches.

This was the nicest part of our journey and mostly due to the lovely hotel and the staff. Everybody was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every evening a nice drink on the outside bar overlooking the marina, spent time swimming in the pool or went to the beach. The beach is only a short 10 min walk away (no problem for our 7 year old daughter) and was great for snorkeling. On the way to the main beach look to the right as there are some smaller beaches along the way which are also very nice. Near to the hotel are multiple restaurants that offer a great variety of Greek food. The shopping street is also right around the corner. But again most lovely was the hotel and the staff - thanks for the great stay.
